First aid by the victim at road and transport incidents

One of the major principles of rendering of the first medical aid - promptness. The rupture time between the moment of reception of a trauma and rendering of the first medical aid less, the it is more than hope of a favorable outcome. Therefore at any road situation menacing by a trauma, each driver should stop and render first aid, without hoping for others: going behind can be late.

As it is known, the person who is not concerning medicine, it having appeared on a place of accident, at the sight of blood and wounded men feels a strong shock. Sincerely wishing to assist, it often does it chaotically and with gross spelling mistakes that quite often only aggravates position of the victim. Therefore in such situation it is the extremely important to be able to take itself in hands, to concentrate, to operate quickly, precisely and intelligently. Besides, it is necessary to remember always that participants of incident, as a rule, are in a state of shock and to sense from them a little. Therefore each driver should be ready to render the pre-medical help and to own skills necessary for it which can appear for the victim sometimes unique chance to survive.

Weight of traumas at road accident can be various and is appreciably defined by speed of moving cars. We will consider tactics and rules of rendering of the first medical aid in case of typical traumas.

At road accident fulfilment first of all it is necessary to designate and protect a failure zone to exclude new accidents. Then, if there is a possibility, it is necessary to make everything to release wounded men who as a result of collision have appeared are clamped by the deformed parts of the car.

At survey of the victim in the car it is necessary to pay attention to its pose and on presence of a pulsing bleeding. The strong arterial bleeding is necessary for stopping at once manual pressing and then to impose a plait. The unnatural pose of the victim testifies to presence of crises or a heavy unconsciousness. In these cases, taking the victim from the car, it is necessary to keep whenever possible its pose invariable, not to cause it new traumas. Probably, at it the thorax is damaged, therefore to hold it it is necessary strong, cautiously and is better for forearms and axillary areas (fig. 58). Thus position of a head, a neck and a thorax should be (fig. 59) invariable that breath was not broke, traumas of cervical department of a backbone have not amplified.

Taking the victim, it is impossible to apply power receptions: to extend, pull or bend. It is necessary to show a care maximum as the victim can have plural traumas, difficult crises of finitenesses, a backbone, a head etc. Never it is necessary to hurry up to send the wounded man in hospital on the first passing transport. If there is a possibility - to cause the car "ёъюЁющ яюьюЁш" on a place of accident. The person whom physicians quite could rescue quite often on the journey perishes. To use passing transport it is possible, only when there is no hope of fast arrival of the doctor.

At once after decision-making on a call "ёъюЁющ яюьюЁш" one of the present should inform from the nearest phone on point "РъюЁющ яюьюЁш" and in traffic police about happened and to transfer the following: a place and incident time, quantity of victims and character of traumas. If there is no phone, it is necessary to transfer the message to the nearest post of traffic police with the driver of a passing car. Besides, in taxi motor vehicles, and also in military cars quite often there are transmitters with which help on reception station it is possible to report the matter with the request to readdress this message by phone on point "РъюЁющ яюьюЁш" and in traffic police.
