Approaching on a crossroads (fig. 23), it is necessary to define a movement kind to choose the necessary maneuver, to estimate review conditions, necessity of change of a lane, and also presence of traffic lights, a sign on a priority, other road information.

At journey of a noncontrollable crossroads it is necessary to occupy the necessary lane and to lower speed, then to look to the right, to the left, again to the right and if there is a danger, to stop. Having convinced that maneuver performance safely, it is possible to begin maneuver. Thus the driver should provide possible adverse actions of other sites of movement and to be ready to sudden actions from their party, including even such which are not provided by traffic Rules.

Before turn cars usually stop to pass transport and the pedestrians having a priority in the present state of affairs, or to specify a situation on crossing. For a stop before right (fig. 24, or left (fig. 24,) turn it is necessary to choose correctly a place not to create hindrances to other participants of movement and at the same time to have the sufficient review of crossed road.

The Important pledge of safe performance of turn on crossing is correctly chosen trajectory of passage of turn which is defined by a corner and car positions (fig. 25). Thus removal, the car from sidewalk should be probably minimum. The corner and (fig. 25, the easier and more safely turn less. Carrying out the right turn, beginning drivers sometimes supposes rough infringement - arrival on a border. Categorically it is forbidden to carry out turn from the movement second row (if it is not provided by traffic signs) as it creates threat to all participants of movement, and the car, moving it appears in unexpected position. If turn in some numbers is provided it is necessary to observe attentively of behaviour of lateral cars not to appear in "ъряърэх" especially if nearby big cargo, cars for which the big radius of turn is required.

It is necessary to notice that pedestrians at a crossroads represent serious danger, their actions frequently happen unexpected. Considering that in most cases in crossed street pedestrians have the movement right of priority, passing street to a green signal of a traffic light, to pass them it is necessary.

More difficult is the left turn, especially if it is connected with departure on the main road when it is necessary to pass cars in two directions of movement. At performance of this maneuver it is necessary beforehand as it is provided by Rules, to make evolution in the left number. Coming nearer to crossing, it is necessary to estimate conditions of visibility of a crossroads and in the absence of prohibiting signs to solve, in what number of movement it will better be built on new road; before entrance on a crossroads it is necessary to establish safe speed and to examine road at the left on as much as possible big distance, and then on the right. If at the left and on the right there are no hindrances, that, without stopping (or to stop and pass transport and pedestrians), smoothly turning a wheel to the left to leave to the middle of crossed road, and then once again to look to the right, then, smoothly increasing speed, to occupy the necessary number on new road. At this maneuver the driver solves, from what party to leave the crossroads centre - at the left or on the right.

The Most widespread in a city is the quadrilateral crossroads. Such crossroads has bolshee number of disputed points. Therefore journey of such crossing demands from the driver of concentration, attentiveness, clearness of driving, good knowledge of Rules of traffic.

At a noncontrollable equivalent quadrilateral crossroads It is necessary strictly and to observe strictly a rule "яюьх§ш ёяЁртр" and to pass the pedestrians passing road on which you turn. Some drivers consider that if at a crossroads there is a traffic light, there is nothing to be careful, and if the green signal is included, it is possible to move, without reducing speed. But, unfortunately, it not always so. First, the traffic light provides formal safety only in borders of a crossroads and as speak, "эх has ю=тх=ё=тхээюё=ш" for safety on approaches to crossing. Besides, red light not has identical stopping influence on all drivers. It is known that there is not numerous, but very dangerous category of drivers on which red light operates excitingly. They feel insuperable desire to slip Ha yellow light, and is frequent and on the red. This circumstance is necessary for considering. The journey of a crossroads executed competently is an indicator of qualification and a maturity of the driver. Here visually comes to light, how much it correctly is guided, accurately defines a trajectory and speed of movement of other cars, is able to choose the safe moment for crossroads journey to this or that situation.

It is necessary to stop especially on driving in a uniform stream with certain kinds of city vehicles which influence specificity of driving and movement tactics. For the city bus frequent stops for landing and disembarkation of passengers, sometimes through 300 are characteristic... It the driver going with it in a stream should consider 400 m., and to choose accordingly optimum a place to appear behind or to the left of the bus so extreme in a stream, and to choose according to road. It is better to settle down behind or to the left of the bus so at following on the right you will prevent to stop to it.

On road at a trace it overtaking to make most safely when and has got under way from a stop and has sped up. The driver who is going round the bus standing at a stop, should lower speed, increase an interval to it and raise attention. The skilled driver, seeing the bus standing at a stop, as a rule, aspires on distance not less than 15... 20 m to see under bus of a foot of the pedestrians bypassing the bus in front. Thus it is necessary to remember that in settlements drivers should make way for the public transport beginning movement from the designated stop.
