The Technics of driving is uniform for maintenance of safe movement in any conditions, irrespective of where there is a car - whether in a dense stream in city streets on a country line or in the conditions of country roads. However, for each characteristic conditions of surrounding conditions there are certain receptions and the skills which knowledge will help the future driver to learn to be guided in concrete road situations.

Characteristic conditions of city movement are frequent stops and troganija from a place, movement in the conditions of a dense stream, frequent turns and evolutions, a significant amount of the external information, presence of land public transport and that the most essential, considerable number of pedestrians.

Before departure on a highway after a stop at sidewalk to us to be convinced that the road ahead and behind the car is free and it is possible to join safely the nearest number of movement (fig. 21). At heavy traffic it is necessary to wait rupture in a stream of vehicles and to leave on an empty seat. The car possesses sufficient dynamism and manoeuvrability quickly to join without hindrances a moving stream, therefore to show impatience irrationally as usually it is not necessary to wait long. A debt of the driver, moving in a dense stream, - whenever possible to pass the leaving. Nevertheless it is necessary to remember that responsibility for the road incident which has arisen during the moment when the car gets under way from a place, always lays down on the driver of the car driving to a stream of movement.

Movement in a city is characterised by dense enough stream of moving cars both within a strip at a short distance from each other, and in a lateral direction of the next numbers of moving cars. Observing of ahead going car, it is necessary to aspire to look through whenever possible through its glasses space before the driver-leader and attentively to observe of its stoplights. Practice shows that any driver reacts to red light of a stoplight, than at supervision over the case braking ahead of the car faster. Therefore movement for large-sized and lorries in a dense city stream unpleasantly also is undesirable.

At movement in the same row the main precept of the driver of the car - to observe a safe distance to ahead going car and (that it is not less important) to supervise through a rear-view mirror a distance going behind the car. It is necessary to remember that failures in a passing direction are the most unexpected. For cars as well as for passengers in these cars, failures represent serious danger both at blow in front, and at blow behind. Therefore be afraid of drivers who hang on "§тюё=х" literally; your car, and if the increase in speed does not possible to restore a demanded distance, it is better to pass this unfortunate driver or to get rid of it, having replaced a lane.

It is necessary to remember that at movement in a stream near to large-sized cars and buses the visibility zone is rather limited and at departure because of it (fig. 22, the driver of the car can face an unexpected obstacle (pedestrian). The similar situation is rather dangerous at a crossroads when all cars stand in expectation of a green signal of a traffic light, and the driver of the car tries to slip to a descent a crossroads on just lighted green signal. In this case the pedestrians finishing transition, represent essential danger (fig. 22,). At movement in cities where highways are equipped by system of the traffic lights working by a principle "схуѕЁр  тюыэр" the great value has a movement mode.

If the driver moves in full conformity with requirements of Rules of traffic for the given highway and knows an operating mode of traffic lights, it practically without a stop will pass a demanded part of a way, having saved thanks to an optimum mode of movement time, fuel (which it is plentifully spent at modes dispersal-braking), thus there will be less deterioration of the car and, first of all, its brakes, and also nervous tension of the driver there is less. The higher skill of the driver is ability to pass the set route with is minimum possible quantity of braking and stops, and even if the traffic light does not work in a mode "схуѕЁр  тюыэр" or if it is not known about it, all the same, having seen from apart a red signal of a traffic light, it is necessary to lower in advance speed of the car and smoothly to approach on a crossroads. Too sharp braking and the subsequent dispersal in speed of movement do not give any prize and speak only about inexperience of the driver.

At an entrance to a crossroads on a faltering green signal of a traffic light it is necessary to estimate possibility of successful journey of a crossroads before inclusion of a yellow signal from calculation that the green signal burns thus 4... 6 with. It means that, if distance to a crossroads more than 70... 100 m, braking that in due time and smoothly to stop before a yellow signal of a traffic light is expedient to begin.

Special complexity for the driver at movement in city conditions is represented by journey of crossings and adjunctions of streets. News that at journey of crossroads where there is third of all incidents, at drivers the general intensity, as a rule, grows, pulse becomes frequent, the blood pressure raises.

For accident-free and unfatiguing driving on the car it is necessary to fulfil especially carefully turns on crossings and adjunctions of roads, to fix skills of safe maneuvers in these cases and to finish them to automatism.
