It is impossible to forget that brakes not all equally that is why, before to continue movement in a usual mode get warm, it is recommended to check up uniformity of drying of wheel brakes some times: if brakes are dried insufficiently and non-uniformly, the car at braking will withdraw aside.

Serious danger to the car at movement at great speed on wet equal road is represented by so-called hydroplaning which consists that water has not time to be squeezed out from under wheels and forms before them similarity of a water wedge (fig. 46). The wheel slightly rises over a road surfacing (on some millimetres) and moves on a water pillow, without having practically coupling with road.

Speed at which the specified phenomenon can begin, depends on drawing of a protector and degree of deterioration of tyres, quality of a road covering, a thickness of a sheet of water, loading on forward wheels. As a rule, at management of a hand of the driver all time as though feel road. Little pushes, suspension bracket fluctuations - all it is transferred through a steering wheel. Absence of such signals - one of indicators of the beginning of hydroplaning. As other symptom that the car ceases to hold confidently a direction can serve, as though starts to float on road. The most reliable way to eliminate hydroplaning - smoothly, but quickly to reduce giving of fuel and to lower speed, but only without use of brakes. In this case water will have time to be squeezed out from under a wheel, the water wedge will collapse, wheels will contact with road and hydroplaning will disappear.
