The Brake possibilities of cars estimated by intensity of delay, are at one level and above in comparison with other types of cars. If brake possibilities of the leader above, the distance has to be increased in 1,5 - 2 times. As it is necessary to arrive at change of a covering of a carriageway:
- at movement on a dry dirt road this distance needs to be increased in 1,2... 1,3 times;
- on wet asfaltobetonnoj - in 1,4... 1,6;
- on wet soil - in 1,8... 2;
- on snow-covered - in 2,5... 3;
- on ice-covered - in 4... 5 times.
Practically for safety it is necessary to be guided by such rule: at damp road the distance increases in 2 times, and at ice-covered - in 4 times.
At approach of a stream of cars to a crossroads or a pedestrian crossing the distance should be increased taking into account probability of braking ahead of the going car.
Not less important correctly to choose a lateral interval between a number going cars. It should make depending on speed and other traffic conditions 0,8... 2,5 m and, naturally, the more speed, the there should be an interval more.
In the course of movement on the car the driver constantly carries out maneuvering - evolution in the ranks of movement, turns, turns etc.
As Evolution is called change of lanes of the car, necessary for turn, stops, movement on a free number, etc. Security measures, irrespective of the reasons of evolution and number of strips, are uniform and consist in obligatory giving of a warning signal before departure from an occupied number and the admission of vehicles, moving in a direct direction (at simultaneous mutual evolution in the next numbers advantage at the car which is on the right).
For maintenance of safe movement sudden change of a site of a vehicle among or maneuvering without timely inclusion of a warning signal of the index of turn is not supposed.
It is necessary to take such order of evolution for a rule: at first to include a turn signal on the left or to the right - depending on the further direction of movement, then by means of a rear-view mirror and head turn to the left (to the right) to be convinced that that number where it is necessary to be reconstructed, is free, and only after that smoothly to be reconstructed in the necessary number. It is necessary to mean that in immediate proximity sideways from the car there can be a zone which is not looked through in a rear-view mirror (on fig. 13 - a colour field). The best trajectory of movement at strip change is very smooth, but curve not too stretched on length.

Moving on some numbers should be carried out consistently from a number abreast, having passed in everyone to a number with the included index of turn roughly not less than 5 with - depending on conditions.
Sometimes drivers, moving in parallel numbers, give simultaneously a signal of mutual evolution. According to rules the driver who is on the right on a course (fig. 14), at evolution has the right of priority (priority), i.e. Begins the first maneuver. To facilitate mutual evolution, the driver who is at the left, should lower speed then the driver on the right will understand that its signal of maneuver is apprehended also to it will make way.
At maneuvering it is impossible to reduce sharply speed of movement as it can create emergency conditions and cause a delay of other vehicles.
At movement in a dense stream of cars the driver should supervise a situation behind the car through a back mirror.
About everyone 15... 20 with, and at movement on less loaded country line - through 35... 40 with, and also before each maneuver. In this case the driver will always supervise all surrounding conditions.
The Important element of maneuvering are turns. Them carry out only from an extreme number of the movement nearest to a direction of turn. In the presence of a corresponding traffic sign or marking lines it is possible to carry out turn and from several extreme numbers.
